Added a convoy fleet list from the Battle of the Barentz Sea to the first post for playtesting.

I really appreciate the change. Tried it in 3 battles and I think you hit the point.

About the "keep her afloat"-command of the USN:
We fought two cruiser battles and this command really changed the course in both games. Once a Wichita class came back from nearly crippled to fully operational with two successful commands. It feels strange that it's possible for a more or less swimming tin can with multiple damaged systems to also do overwhelming repairs of hull points in consecutive rounds.
Maybe it should be only once per ship (if succesful)?

I've made some small changes to 'Keep her afloat' to make it a little less dominating. You can only use it instead of the normal dmg control roll now, and not when there is fire or flooding going on. Also the drawback has increased a bit, starting D3 fires for medium and large ships. I think that should be enough to balance it a bit more.

I've started on updating more fleet lists. I've added the reworked Norway and Midway OoB's.

I've added a hypothetical carrier list to the British in Norway, since they had 3 carriers there. I've also added the Midway occupation force as a Convoy list.

More OoB's to follow

Furthermore I've gone over the Command stations again, fixing small things to bring them in line with 1.4. I've also made some changes to the British fleet special action (now requires an order token instead of disruption tokens), added a British carrier Command Station and exchanged one of the French torpedo abilities which made their torpedoes a bit OP (they can now increase the range a bit instead of increasing the DMG or ROF. This is more historical since the French torpedoes had a substantial larger range than their Italian counterparts).

Keep up the good work! We appreciate it and always use the changes you made for our next games. Last week we tested your new Baltic Sea Convoy OOB. It worked very well. Nothing to complain.
Concerning OOBs. Our Gaming Group misses one important OOB. One of our players has miniatures for an Italian fleet. He needs opponents in the Mediterranean Sea. British predominantly. Up to now we use the British Homefleet OOB from the Norway Campaign. I know that many ships on this list were switched back and forth between these theaters of operations.
My question is. Do you have a special OOB for the British that can be used 1940 in the Mediterranean region? That would be great.

Regards,

Lindinho

Hello Lindinho, thank you for your feedback. As for the OOB request, I'll put it on my list. With the convoy fleet type in place and scenario's to match, one of the first things on my list is expanding on the British OOB with Atlantic convoys and the Battle of Malta. (that and a campaign system, but I recon the OOB's might come first). The Italians will also feature there.

I've currently added to the 1.4 files a new way of calculating the Order tokens. This should reduce the overall number of order tokens and make their use more meaningful. It should also decrease the scaling with larger fleets. So the change effects larger fleets more than smaller fleets.

Great work, loving V1.4, but will there be new Datacards for the ship and aircraft, seen a couple of new style ones, Graf Zeppelin, Bf 109E and Ju 87 Stuka, but cant seem to find any others ?
Cheers.

Hello Jobo68, you're just in time, I've just replaced all the files in the download folder with the 1.4 files. This includes all the new datacards for ships, planes and officers!

You can find them in the download section. And since they can be found there now, together with all the 1.4 OOB's and such, I will be removing the link from the first post.

I'll edit the frontpage and Navypedia when I find the time for it. I just wanted to get the files out there first.
