Cruiser/Minelayer Pluton

Hi,
Went to the Copyshop today, and I'm now the proud owner of a stack of 80 datacards. One for each and every ship I have. Each and every ship? No, because one ship is still missing, the cruiser/minelayer Pluton. Not the best known perhaps, and only one in this class, but a little bit different from the other light cruisers.
Also, there are no rules for mine warfare at the moment, and I'm not sure they would have a place in a regular engagement. But maybe something to think about?
I'll forgive you if you're not going to make datacards for the Casablanca class escort carriers 'Metz' and 'Nancy'. You won't find much on these in the history books anyway

I'll look into adding Pluton, she should be in the next update of the Zip-files as I can find enough about her after a quick search.
If you want datacards for paper ships you can post the data for the ships here and I'll make the datacards for you. I won't add them to the zip-files though as I would like those limited to real ships, with probably Graf Zeppelin as an example of the cutoff point. But you should be able to copy the datacards as I post them here for your own use.

Correction, are you talking about the US Casablanca class carriers? In that case I could just make them for the US and generate two cards for you on the french template with the desired names. I'll eventually need to make them for the US anyway.

Pluton did engage in an energetic self-disassembly before she could do very much to contribute to the war effort.

Still, there's a really nice model of her on Shapeways, and it'd be nice to have a card for her.
Some time (Way down the line, I mean. I know you've got your hands full with other things right now and I wouldn't want to distract from them)
I'd like to see about helping do a Ko Chang scenario, or maybe a mini OOB.

I've had my eye on these for a long time, but no way to actually use them.

I've made a new thread about the Casablanca's to not clutter up this one about Pluton.

Yes, Pluton was rather unlucky. Still, as you say, a card would be nice.
I've only recently found out about the 'Avisos' colonial craft. Currently I don't have any, but they are available in 1:3000 (which is what I use). The Thay Navy is also available. So that gets my vote as well. Maybe one day you'll get around to doing these.

There you go, I've also added it to the French Zip-file and will be available once those get updated in the download section.

Thanks again! You're not very slow, are you?!
And may I add here that I'm very impressed with the quality and sophistication of these cards and the other components. They put a lot of commercially available games to shame. And I'm not even talking about the mid eighties games that were apparently typed up and then stencilled, with just some line drawings added, all in black and white offcourse.

Thanks, after a lot of experimenting I've got a data-card generator now that works pretty smooth. Currently generating cards is one of the most easy parts about the whole game components thing. Creating Orders of Battle and fleet lists of the different regions and battles is a different thing though
