Probably the idea of moving hidden tokens was considered during the design of the Carrier Clash scenario, but presumably dropped to avoid unnecessary complexity. However, there is one strong case when it would make sense: when the enemy is revealed and we want to launch an aerial attack (first strike in 1.5), but the enemy is too far for our flights' range. It would be great if in that case tokens could move closer without revealing themselves. I wonder if it would make sense to allow tokens to move around as visible squadrons, let's say 10-15 cms on the table every turn. Any thoughts?

I tried this, but besides prolonging the part of the game where there are no miniatures on the table (a bad thing IMO), it added very little. The room to move on the half-table is already cramped and it complicated the scout placement a lot, again prolonging a pretty bland part of the game.

On a standard table you can cover 200cm (20cm launch + 80cm move +80cm move +20cm air attack) with a flight with 4 fuel tokens, so if you have placed your carriers outside of that range, on a table that is only 180cm wide, I will assume that is intentional :-)
