I've been wondering for a little while now about allied forces within a fleet list and command stations, but I haven't really had the situation arise to where I'd need definite clarification before, mostly because I didn't have the models. My question is, is an allied ship (for an example, the two Australian cruisers in Task Force 44) able to receive all orders from it's host command station (in the example it would be the USN), just the generic orders available to all nations, or some other alternative? I know that after the disaster of ABDACOM, the (uppercase) Allies got significantly better at coordinating their actions, but I wasn't able to find something within the rules that indicates your intent one way or another.

Well, currently my opinion on the matter is that we shouldn't complicate things to much. Where it was really an issue (ABDA) I've made a seperate command station. For the rest of the OOB's allied forces are just small additions to a bigger picture, usually under unified command, so just use the Command station of the parent fleet. In specific historical scenario's all bets are off ofcourse and the designer of the scenario should determine what works best.
