I think the only adjustment I would suggest is to drop the attack modifier for successful attacks?

Made the change in the 1.5 files I'm working on. Also renamed the ability 'Death over defeat' as it is more fitting.

Follow-up question. The Japanese ability allows one aircraft to ignore AA and make attacks with a positive modifier. This is deemed a bit OP. The American ability 'Press the attack' however, allows ALL aircraft in a flight to ignore AA breakoffs. I really thought that the American ability would be superior to the japanese. How is it that this ability is not considered as such?

The way I was playing it was allowing the Japanese player to use an order token per flight, which ended up being expensive, but if you gor 2 or 3 through it was devastating. Reading it that way does make the US alternative more potent. Realising that is what you intended, the way you have it seems fairer. I'll keep you posted on the results.

Ah, that explains a lot. Remember that each order can only be used once per activation. So only one Death over defeat order per air attack activation. If you get in 3 orders in one air attack that might be quite overpowered indeed.

Makes a big difference! Especially when your opponent gets 3 or 4 kamikaze attacks on a ship! I feel the balance has been restored in the "force"!
