New player here as well and I'm really enjoying the rules. The game has the feeling of Victory at Sea by Mongoose but is done much better. I hope we see the Soviets in the future. ;)

Welcome to the forum! Soviets will probably enter the game at some point. With the 1.4 testing I'm currently using murmansk convoy lists to see if I can get a convoy system working, so I think the only bottleneck will be coming up with a competitive Command Station for them.

That's a long way across the pond for me :) I once built the USS Texas for one of your fellow Texans. You should keep a look out on local gaming conventions if you can find it.
